I hate the look of diaper bags. They’re all very “baby-ish” which I suppose is appropriate. However, I love my handbags, totes and purses because they’re stylish. I purchased one traditional diaper bag and I think I’ve used it a total of one time. After that, I decided I needed to create my own diaper bag. Here’s how you can create your own diaper bag as well.

Items you will need:

1. One large tote or messenger bag
2. One diaper wallet
3. A travel wet wipes case
4. 3 disposable diapers or cloth diapers
5. Pacifier pod
6. Pacifier
7. Spare clothes for baby
8. Anti-bacterial gel/wipes
9. Large ziplock bags or wet bag for dirty clothes or diapers
10. Burp cloth
11. Sling

If bottle feeding:

1. Warm bottle of sterilized water
2. Formula
3. Baby bottle

If nursing:

1. Nursing cover
2. Nipple shield

You can throw everything needed into your tote or messenger bag, or if you like to keep items compartmentalized, you can purchase small zippered cosmetic bags to keep smaller items contained.
